Archer Public Affairs to open DC office
Archer Public Affairs is expanding its footprint to Washington, D.C.
The new location of the Haddonfield-based firm will service legal clients and public affairs clients.
“We have a large client base at the national level, and there are issues that sometimes need a resolution at the national level,” said Bill Caruso, Archer Public Affairs managing director and partner at affiliate Archer & Greiner PC, in an interview during the Chamber of Commerce Walk to Washington. “Whether that be lobbying a regulatory body or working on behalf of a client to change policy in the legislative process, we have phenomenal resources at Archer.”
Along with Caruso, who has spent the majority of his career working at the federal level, Archer’s team boasts Senior Director for Strategic & Regulatory Affairs Rick Mroz, who is former president of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, and former Pennsylvania House Urban Affairs Committee Chairman John Taylor, who anchors Archer’s Harrisburg, Pa. public affairs practice.
“There’s a lot of nexus to what we’re doing in D.C.,” Caruso said.
While he said members won’t be based full-time in D.C., having the office space gives them to ability to be on an Amtrak train to Washingtoin whenever necessary, Caruso said.
“I think the announcement was really confirming our commitment to servicing the client base in the nation’s capital, and this is a perfect venue to make that announcement,” he said.
The new office will be located at 300 New Jersey Ave., NW, Suite No. 900, Washington, D.C.
Caruso is a member of the Chamber of Commerce board.
