Overview: This Regional Safety Task Force meeting will be devoted to Safe Speeds strategies, continuing the focus on the Safe Systems approach to road safety. Following on the heels of the Federal Highway Administration's adoption of speed management as a safety focus area, this meeting will feature presentations on Safe Speeds tactics from abroad and efforts underway in the region. Following the presentations, RSTF members will break into groups to brainstorm ways to promote Safe Speeds strategies in the region.
